等离子喷涂合成TiCN厚涂层及其摩擦磨损特性被引量:11

TiCN作为一种先进的耐磨涂层被普遍应用在生产的诸多领域.采用反应等离子喷涂方法成功制备出了TiCN厚涂层,并对涂层的相组成、组织结构及涂层的摩擦磨损性能进行了研究.结果表明,涂层致密度高,氧化物杂质含量低;XPS显示,涂层中存在Ti与C和N的离子性结合;并且TiCN涂层具有优良的耐磨性能,其失效形式主要是由于黏着磨损造成的,伴随TiCN硬质颗粒的磨削与高温氧化失效,磨损失效区域中Fe,Cr,O元素含量较高,由表面逐渐向涂层内部侵蚀.

Titanium carbonitride thick coating prepared by plasma spray synthesis and its tribological properties被引量:6

TiCN coating, owing to its superior wear-resistance, has been frequently applied in many fields. TiCN thick coating was first prepared by reactive plasma spraying. The phase composition, microstructure and tribological properties of the TiCN coating were investigated in this research. Experimental results show that the microstructure of the TiCN coating was quite dense, and there was also a little amount of titanium oxides within the coating. By XPS analysis, Ti-C and Ti-N bonds were detected in the coating. The TiCN coating exhibited superior wear-resistance. The failure mechanism was attributed to the ad-hesive wear, the grinding of TiCN hard-grain, as well as the coating failure by oxidation. There were more Fe, Cr, O, etc. in the failure zone, suggesting that the corrosion propagated gradually from sur-face to interior.

TEM characterization of the TiN coatings fabricated by reactive plasma spraying

The nanostructured TiN coatings were fabricated by the reactive plasma spraying, and the micro-structure of the coatings was analyzed by XRD, SEM and TEM. The results show that the coatings are composed of TiN and Ti3O phases, and the coatings have the typical sprayed lamellae structures. The nanoscale grains with particle diameters less than 100 nm are observed in the coatings by TEM, and both fine equiaxed and columnar grains are found simultaneously in the nanostructured TiN coatings. Furthermore, the deformation twins are verified by TEM in the coatings, which are caused by the high cooling rate and the non-uniform temperature distribution in the plasma jet.

Reactive Plasma Sprayed TiN Coating and Its Thermal Stability被引量:1

TiN coating was prepared by reactive plasma spraying in the Ar and N2 containing plasma jet. The results of XRD show that the TiN coating consists of TiN and Ti3O, neither Ti2N nor TiO2 phases. The toughening mechanism was characterized by analyzing the SEM morphologies of the TiN coating′s indentation of microhardness and fracture surfaces. The results indicate that the coating possesses a high toughness. The adhesion strength among the TiN layers is 25.88 MPa, which is slightly lower than that of the Ni/Al bonding coating. The oxidation process of the RPS TiN coating is TiN→Ti3O→TiO2.

反应等离子喷涂TiN复相陶瓷涂层的研究被引量:9

采用反应等离子喷涂技术制备了TiN复相涂层,并分析了复相涂层的组织及其性能。结果表明:复相涂层主要由TiN相组成,并含有少量的钛的氧化物;复相涂层具有典型的层状组织结构,且层与层之间结合较好;复相涂层是由小于100 nm晶粒组成,属于纳米复合材料,因而复相涂层不仅具有高硬度,而且具有远优于Al_2O_3涂层的断裂韧性。与M2钢相比,复合涂层具有较高的耐磨性能。

反应等离子喷涂TiN涂层热处理后力学性能研究被引量:12

用反应等离子喷涂方法制备了厚度约为500μm的TiN陶瓷涂层,而后对其进行在不同温度,时间,保护气氛下的退火处理,并对涂层的硬度,断裂韧性及残余应力进行了测量。借助SEM对涂层形貌进行了表征,采用XRD测量涂层的残余应力。结果表明:在大气中600℃退火后,涂层硬度最高。而在Ar800℃处理后,涂层韧性有了明显的改善。涂层残余应力为压应力,并且涂层内的残余应力随着热处理温度的升高而增大。
