A LOW-COMPLEXITY PORT SELECTION AND POWER ALLOCATION SCHEME IN DISTRIBUTION MIMO SYSTEMS被引量:2

Information theoretical results have shown that Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) can obtain higher capacity than Co-located Antenna Systems (CAS). In this paper,we investigate a downlink port selection and power allocation scheme in Distributed Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (D-MIMO) systems,where Distributed Antenna (DA) ports randomly locate in the cell. The contri-bution of this paper can be summarized as two parts. Firstly,we analyze how antenna correlation af-fects power allocation in D-MIMO systems. Secondly,based on large scale fading and antenna corre-lation,a low-complexity port selection and power allocation scheme is proposed. In the proposed scheme,we take both large scale fading and antenna correlation into consideration. Moreover,User Equipment (UE) only needs to feedback the rank of transmit antenna correlation matrix,which will not increase system complexity too much. Simulation results verify the capacity improvement based on the proposed power allocation scheme.

Ergodic Capacity Analysis and Adaptive Transsmion Scheme in Multi-user Distributed Antenna Systems

This paper focuses on analyzing the ergodic capacity performance of limited feedback (LFB) beamforming in multi-user distributed antenna system (DAS). In such a system, multi-user interference (MUI) is inevitably due to the channel uncertainties caused by quantization error. Considering this, we propose a parameter named effective ergodic capacity rate (EECR), which denotes the capacity offset between finite rate feedback and perfect channel state information (CSI). The simulation results show that the derived approximated EECR is very tight to actual EECR. Based on the approximated EECR, an adaptive minimum bit feedback scheme is proposed, which can effectively reduce the overhead of feedback channel and the complexity of the system. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

针对协同分布式天线系统,提出了一种新的有限反馈比特分配算法,以最小化信道量化误差造成的速率损失.在多用户协同分布式天线系统中,存在两种干扰:本小区内的多用户干扰和来自周围小区的小区间干扰.为了抑制这两种干扰,该文使用随机矢量量化的码本,分别量化来自本小区和周围干扰小区的信道状态信息.在用户总反馈开销固定时,采用最优化方法得出为本小区和周围小区分配反馈比特数的最优解.仿真结果表明,该算法与平均比特分配算法相比有效地提升了用户平均传输速率.
