真空热压烧结和冷压烧结叠层陶瓷的摩擦学特性

通过真空热压烧结和冷压烧结两种方法制备Al2O3-TiC/Al2O3-TiC-CaF2叠层陶瓷材料,测量材料试样的体积密度、显微硬度和抗弯强度,研究两种叠层陶瓷材料的摩擦磨损性能。在环盘式摩擦磨损试验机上进行摩擦磨损实验,用扫描电镜(SEM)观察材料磨损前后的微观形貌,分析其磨损机理。结果表明:热压烧结法制备的叠层陶瓷材料具有较高的硬度和抗弯强度,结构致密;在载荷小,低实验转速的情况下,冷压烧结法制备的叠层陶瓷试样具有较小的摩擦系数;在载荷大、高实验转速的条件下,热压烧结法制备的叠层陶瓷材料试样摩擦系数小,磨损率较低,摩擦磨损性能好;热压烧结法制备叠层陶瓷材料磨损机制主要是磨粒磨损和粘着磨损;冷压烧结法制备叠层陶瓷材料的磨损形式主要是表面疲劳磨损和磨粒磨损。

用于45~#钢丝拉拔加工的叠层陶瓷拉拔模具磨损分析

为研究45#钢丝拉拔加工过程中受力和Al2O3-TiC/Al2O3-TiC-CaF2叠层陶瓷拉拔模具磨损情况,采用真空热压烧结方式制备Al2O3-TiC/Al2O3-TiC-CaF2叠层陶瓷拉拔模具,并将其固定在万能拉伸试验机上进行钢丝拉拔实验.采用三维造型软件SolidWorks建立钢丝坯料和拉拔模具的有限元模型,通过有限元模拟软件对钢丝拉拔成形过程进行仿真分析,得到45#钢丝在变形过程中的轴向应力、应变以及拉拔力的变化情况.扫描电镜(SEM)及能量弥散X射线谱(EDS)观察拉拔模具磨损后的微观形貌.结果表明:叠层陶瓷拉拔模具工作区的Al2O3-TiC-CaF2材料层比Al2O3-TiC材料层磨损严重,Al2O3-TiC-CaF2材料层的固体润滑膜被拖覆到Al2O3-TiC材料层,模具整体具有自润滑性能.实际测量拉拔力与公式计算所得拉拔力相吻合,模拟所得拉拔力比实际测量拉拔力小.

为了探索自润滑陶瓷材料的开发及应用,采用冷压烧结工艺制备Al2O3/TiC/CaF2自润滑复合陶瓷材料。在摩擦磨损实验机上对其进行摩擦磨损实验,并对其摩擦磨损行为及自润滑效应进行分析。结果表明:在实验过程中,Al2O3/TiC/CaF2复合陶瓷材料物理机械性能优于同条件下制备的Al2O3/TiC复合陶瓷材料,且具有较低的摩擦因数和磨损率,其减摩抗磨效果明显,具有一定的自润滑效应,其减摩抗磨机理为摩擦驱动下CaF2存在于摩擦副表面,形成减摩抗磨层,在表面形成一层平整、光滑的自润滑层,增加摩擦表面实际接触面积,起到自润滑效应。

Wear Behavior of Cold Pressed and Sintered Al_2O_3/TiC/CaF_2-Al_2O_3/TiC Laminated Ceramic Composite

A novel laminated Al2O3/TiC/CaF2-Al2O3/TiC sandwich ceramic composite was fabricated through cold pressing and sintering to achieve better anti-wear performance, such as low friction coefficient and low wear rate. Al2O3/TiC/CaF2 and Al2O3/TiC composites were alternatively built layer-by-layer to obtain a sandwich structure. Solid lubricant CaF2 was added evenly into the Al2O3/TiC/CaF2 layer to reduce the friction and wear. Al2O3/TiC ceramic was also cold pressed and sintered for comparison. Friction analysis of the two ceramics was then conducted via a wear-and-tear machine. Worn surface and surface compositions were examined by scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersion spectrum, respectively. Results showed that the laminated Al2O3/TiC/CaF2-Al2O3/TiC sandwich ceramic composite has lower friction coefficient and lower wear rate than those of Al2O3/TiC ceramic alone because of the addition of CaF2 into the laminated Al2O3/TiC/CaF2-Al2O3/TiC sandwich ceramic composite. Under the friction load, the tiny CaF2 particles were scraped from the Al2O3/TiC/CaF2 layer and spread on friction pairs before falling off into micropits. This process formed a smooth, self-lubricating film, which led to better anti-wear properties. Adhesive wear is the main wear mechanism of Al2O3/TiC/CaF2 layer and abrasive wear is the main wear mechanism of Al2O3/TiC layer.

将Al2O3-TiC陶瓷材料与具有固体润滑特性的Al2O3-TiC-CaF2陶瓷材料进行叠层,通过真空热压烧结制备Al2O3-TiC/Al2O3-TiC-CaF2复合叠层陶瓷材料。在环盘式摩擦磨损试验机上进行摩擦磨损实验,研究该材料在不同载荷、转速条件下的摩擦系数和磨损率,分别用SEM及EDS观察材料磨损前后的微观形貌和分析其成分组成,研究其磨损机制。结果表明:在相同载荷条件下,Al2O3-TiC/Al2O3-TiC-CaF2复合叠层陶瓷材料的摩擦系数和磨损率随着转速的升高而下降,在相同转速条件下,其摩擦系数和磨损率随着载荷的增加而下降;Al2O3-TiC/Al2O3-TiC-CaF2复合叠层陶瓷材料的磨损机制主要是磨粒磨损和黏着磨损。

Tribological Properties of Self-lubricating Laminated Ceramic Materials

In order to improve the tribological properties of ceramic composites, Al2O3/TiC-Al2O3/TiC/Ca F2 self-lubricating laminated ceramic composites were prepared by vacuum hot pressing sintering. Experiments were conducted to get mechanical properties and the friction and wear properties were also measured with friction and wear tester. The worn surfaces were observed by scanning electron microscope(SEM) and energy dispersion spectrum(EDS). The wear resistance properties and the self-lubricating effect of ceramic composites were analyzed. Results show that the Al2O3/TiC-Al2O3/TiC/Ca F2 self-lubricating laminated ceramic composites layers are well-defined with a higher bonding strength and the mechanical performances are uniform enough to overcome the anisotropy of weak laminated ceramic composites. In addition, the fracture toughness of Al2O3/TiC layers is also improved. Its friction coefficient and wear rates decrease with the increase of rotation speed and load. Al2O3/TiC-Al2O3/TiC/Ca F2 self-lubricating laminated ceramic composites have good wear resistance because of the tribofilm formed by the Ca F2 solid lubricants. The wear mechanisms of Al2O3/TiC/Ca F2 layers are abrasive wear and Al2O3/TiC layers are adhesive wear.

采用真空热压烧结的方式制备出Al2O3-TiC/Al2O3-TiC-CaF2叠层陶瓷拉拔模具坯体。通过显微压痕强度实验,研究Al2O3-TiC层和Al2O3-TiC-CaF2层的叠层厚度和层厚比对陶瓷材料硬度和断裂韧性的影响,并且用有限元方法对叠层陶瓷材料烧结过程中的残余应力进行分析。结果表明:Al2O3-TiC/Al2O3-TiC-CaF2叠层陶瓷拉拔模具坯体具有良好的层间界面,晶粒结合紧密;在模具坯体叠层部分总高度不变的情况下,当叠层数目为5,层厚比(Al2O3-TiC层:Al2O3-TiC-CaF2层)为1∶1时,叠层陶瓷拉拔模具坯体的硬度值和断裂韧性值达到最大,分别为18.2±0.3 GPa和5.7±0.2 MPa·m1/2;在烧结冷却过程中,由于不同材料层的热膨胀系数和弹性模量而引起的残余应力是该叠层陶瓷拉拔模具坯体具有良好机械性能的原因。

WC-8Co与Al_2O_3-TiC两种拉拔模具磨损行为研究被引量:4

采用冷、热压烧结技术分别制备了WC-8Co和Al2O3-TiC两种拉拔模具.研究了该两种不同拉拔模具用于实际拉拔加工45#钢线时的摩擦磨损行为,并对其磨损机理进行了分析.结果表明:两种拉拔模具均具有较好的强度和硬度,能较好地进行拉拔加工,其内孔磨损在工作区及定径区最为严重,磨损面有金属脱落元素、模具颗粒脱落元素及润滑脂残留物.WC-8Co和Al2O3-TiC两种拉拔模具的磨损机理不尽相同,WC-8Co模具主要为粘着磨损和磨粒磨损,而Al2O3-TiC模具则以磨粒磨损和表面疲劳磨损为主.Al2O3-TiC拉拔模具更适合于45#钢线材的拉拨.
