Schiff base-Cu（II） complex is found to be an effective catalyst for the condensation reaction of indole with aldehydes using ethanol as the solvent. The characterization of the catalysts was carried out using XRD and FT-IR.

Friedel-Crafts alkylation of indoles with nitroalkenes catalyzed by a novel Zn（II）-thiourea complex has been developed. The remarkable advantages of this reaction are mild reaction conditions, simple workup procedure, high yield of products and the use of ethanol as acceptable solvent.

Co（ClO_4））_2·6H_2O/bis-Schiff base complexes promoted the conjugate addition of indole toα,β-unsaturated ketones under mild conditions,giving the corresponding addition products with high yields.And the complex has been characterized with XRD and IR.
