QSAR for Photodegradation Activity of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Aqueous Systems

The relationship between chemical structures and photodegradation activity of 12 PAHs is studied using DFT and HF methods, and stepwise multiple linear regression analysis method. The equilibrium geometries and vibration frequency have been investigated by considering Solvent effects using a selfconsistent reaction field based on the polarizable continuum model. With DFT and HF methods, different quantum chemical structural descriptors are obtained by quantum chemical calculation and the results with DFT method are better for QSAR model. It is concluded that the photodegradation activity is closely related to its molecular structure. In the regression analysis, the main factors affecting photodegradation rate include the energy of the highest occupied orbital EHOMO and the number of six-carbon benzene ring N1, and the QSAR model successfully established is logkb = 6.046 + 54.830EHOMO + 0.272N1. Statistical evaluation of the developed QSAR shows that the relationships are statistically significant and the model has good predictive ability. EHOMO is the most important factor influcing the photodegradation of PAHs, because the higher EHOMO is, the more easily electron will be excited and the more easily molecular will be degraded. Comparison of the photodegradation of PAHs with their biodegradation shows that the committed step of biodegradation is that the effects of microorganisms make the chemical bond break, while in the committed step of photodegradation PAHs eject electrons.

固相萃取-高效液相色谱-荧光检测法测定海水中的多环芳烃被引量:19

建立了用固相萃取-高效液相色谱-荧光检测法测定海水中多环芳烃的方法,优化了色谱条件和萃取条件。除苊不能用荧光检测器检出外,其余15种多环芳烃的空白加标回收率在64.5%(苯并[g,h,i],茚并[1,2,3-cd]芘)~88.7%(苯并[a]蒽)之间,相对标准偏差(n=5)为4.9%(荧蒽,苯并[b]荧蒽)~11.1%(苯并[g,h,i],茚并[1,2,3-cd]芘),方法的检出限在0.72(蒽)~14.10 ng/L(荧蒽)之间,基本上达到了痕量分析的要求。利用该方法测得青岛湾表层海水中多环芳烃的浓度在0.125(苯并[k]荧蒽)~25.996 ng/L(萘)之间,但苯并[a]芘未检出。

Theoretical Study on the Photodegradation Mechanism of Pyrethroid Insecticide Fenvalerate in Water被引量:1

The photodegradation mechanism of fenvalerate in water has been investigated by density functional theory(DFT).The geometries of reactants,transition states,intermediates and products are optimized at the B3LYP/6-31G* level.The calculated results indicate that the reaction process mainly includes the nucleophilic attack and the substitution reaction by hydroxyl radical to the carbonyl group.By vibrational frequency analysis and intrinsic reaction coordinate(IRC) method,the transition state and its reaction pathway are confirmed.Moreover,the changes of natural population analysis(NPA),calculated using the Natural bond orbital(NBO) method,are analyzed along with the degradation reaction which can explain the variation of chemical bonds.Additionally,the solvent effect is also investigated and the results show that the reaction preferably takes place in water.

Optimization of Ultrasonic Extraction and Clean-up Protocol for the Determination of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Marine Sediments by High-performance Liquid Chroma-tography Coupled with Fluorescence Detection被引量:1

The procedures of ultrasonic extraction and clean-up were optimized for the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in marine sediments. Samples were ultrasonically extracted, and the extracts were purified with a miniaturized silica gel chromatographic column and analyzed with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with a fluorescence detector. Ultrasonication with methanol-dichloromethane (2:1, v/v) mixture gave higher extraction efficiency than that with dichloromethane. Among the three elution solvents used in clean-up step, dichloromethane-hexane (2:3, v/v) mixture was the most satisfactory. Under the optimized conditions, the recoveries in the range of 54.82% to 94.70% with RSDs of 3.02% to 23.22% for a spiked blank, and in the range of 61.20% to 127.08% with RSDs of 7.61% to 26.93% for a spiked matrix, were obtained for the 15 PAHs studied, while the recoveries for a NIST standard reference SRM 1941b were in the range of 50.79% to 83.78% with RSDs of 5.24% to 21.38%. The detection limits were between 0.75 ng L-1 and 10.99 ng L-1for different PAHs. A sample from the Jiaozhou Bay area was examined to test the established methods.

多环芳烃的海洋环境行为及其代谢产物的研究进展被引量:12

多环芳烃是一类广泛存在于环境中的持久性有机污染物,具有"三致"作用。环境中多环芳烃的某些不完全代谢产物同样可能具有持久性,有些甚至比母体多环芳烃的毒性更强,有可能对环境造成更大的危害。本文介绍了近年来国内外有关多环芳烃的海洋环境行为及其代谢产物毒性方面的研究进展,并重点对代谢产物的分析方法,包括高效液相色谱、气相色谱、气相色谱-质谱联用和液相色谱-质谱联用等,进行了总结,最后对该领域的研究方向进行了展望。

天然水环境中的溶解有机物及其光化学降解对重金属生物可利用性的影响被引量:3

溶解有机物(DOM)在控制水生生态系统的化学、生物和物理特性中起着重要的作用。DOM不仅能够结合黏土颗粒,而且也能结合对环境和生物有重要影响的Hg,Cu,Pb,Cd,Ni等重金属和有机污染物,从而改变这些物质的迁移、生物可利用性和毒性。本文综述了天然水环境中DOM与重金属的相互作用和对其生物可利用性的影响,并对影响DOM光化学降解的因素及其对重金属生物可利用性的影响做了总结。已有的研究表明:DOM的结构、分子量、浓度、重金属种类、水环境条件等均会影响到DOM与重金属污染物的相互作用;光化学降解会显著改变DOM与重金属的相互作用,从而使其生物可利用性发生变化。

海洋沉积物中蒽和甲基取代蒽在自然菌群作用下的生物降解研究

选择蒽、9-甲基蒽和9,10-二甲基蒽作为模型化合物,以李村河口区沉积物为培养基质,进行实验室好氧微生态培养,通过超声萃取-柱层析-气相色谱法测定目标污染物浓度随培养时间的变化,研究了它们在自然菌群作用下的生物降解行为。测定方法的基质加标回收率在66.20%~82.95%之间,相对标准偏差在3.34%~6.19%之间。6个月的好氧生物降解实验表明,沉积物中本底蒽由32.88 ng.g-1降到32.32 ng.g-1,降解率仅为1.70%;而在添加了蒽的沉积物样品中其浓度由170.40 ng.g-1降到151.36 ng.g-1,降解率高达11.17%;加入的9-甲基蒽和9,10-二甲基蒽的浓度也分别由133.84 ng.g-1和144.26 ng.g-1减少至122.52 ng.g-1和135.13 ng.g-1,降解率分别达到8.46%和6.33%。相同条件下三种有机污染物的不同降解速率表明,9,10位取代使得蒽在沉积环境中更加持久。

单体同位素分析(Compound-Specific Isotope Analysis,CSIA)是1990年代发展成熟的现代分析方法,日渐应用于环境分析领域,成为当前研究有机污染物最具有应用前景的技术之一。当前CSIA技术在有机污染物研究中的应用主要集中在污染物来源判识、生物转化及降解机理研究等方面,本文主要综述了CSIA在有机污染物生物转化的证明和转化机理研究方面的进展。

海洋环境中多环芳烃的测定与来源解析被引量:6

从样品采集与保存、样品前处理、多环芳烃的检测3个方面介绍了测定海水和海洋沉积物中多环芳烃的步骤和最新进展。对目前较为常用的几种样品前处理方法,如液-液萃取、固相萃取、固相微萃取、索氏提取、超声提取、微波萃取、超临界流体萃取、加速溶剂萃取;以及检测方法,如气相色谱-质谱法、高效液相色谱法等作了详细介绍,比较了各自的优缺点。对目前较为常用的2种多环芳烃的来源解析方法(分子指纹法和同位素指纹法)的相关研究进展进行了总结。

QSAR for Predicting Biodegradation Rates of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Aqueous Systems被引量:3

The relationship between chemical structures and biodegradation rates (k b) of 22 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) was studied using density functional theory (DFT) and stepwise multiple linear regression analysis (SMLR) method.The equilibrium geometries and vibration frequency have been investigated at the B3LYP/6-31+G(d,p) level by thinking Solvent effects using a selfconsistent reaction field (SCRF) based on the polarizable continuum model (PCM).It was concluded that the biodegradation rate was closely related to its molecular structure,and there is one high correlation coefficient between the in-plane bending vibration frequency of the conjugated ring of PAHs (Freq) and k b.By means of regression analysis,the main factors affecting the biodegradation rate were obtained and the equation of quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) was successfully established kb =-0.653+0.001Freq+0.068CQ+0.049N1.Statistical evaluation of the developed QSAR showed that the relationships were statistically significant and the model had good predictive ability.The fact that a bending frequency is more important than the HOMO or LUMO energies in predicting k b suggests that the bending of benzene ring might play an important role in the enzymatic catalysis of the initial oxidation step.
