In the present study, we report the six type specimens and two paratypes of eight lizard species in the Herpetological Museum of the Chengdu Institute of Biology(CIB), Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS). Each entry provides the information of the original description, the catalog number of the holotype, sex, type locality, and information of allotype and paratype(if any), number and distribution of deposited specimens, and comments. Additionally, two invalid species and one invalid subspecies are discussed.
A new species, D. tenuiata in the triangularia-group of Ditrigona Moore, 1888 is described from Sichuan, China. The female genitalia of D. uniuncusa are described for the first time. Illustrations of external features and genitalia of this new species and related species are presented. A checklist to the triangulariagroup is also provided.
Tipula(Sivatipula)is a small subgenus of Tipula with only fourteen species described in the world,with eight species previously known to occur in China.Here one new species is added to the fauna of China.A key to the species(males)of Tipula(Sivatipula)from China is presented.
Chinese species of the genus Polyura Billberg are revised.Ten species,including a new species,Polyura eleganta sp.nov.from Gansu Province,are described and illustrated.A key to the Chinese species is provided.
The leafhopper genus Changwhania Kwon and subgenus Limotettix(Scleroracus) Van Duzee are reported for the first time from Pakistan. A widely-distributed species Changwhania ceylonensis Baker, 1925n.rec. and the Nearctic species Scleroracus cacheolus n. rec. are described and illustrated in this paper.
