Eight L-dopamine Schiff bases were synthesized by the reaction of L-dopamine and diverse aromatic aldehdes and ketones(six target compounds were not reported by literature).Their structures were comfirmed by elemental analysis,UV-vis,IR spectrum,1H-NMR and 13C-NMR and the antibacterial activity of eight target compounds were inverstigated.
