Synergistic Effect of Mo, W, Mn and Cr on the Passivation Behavior of a Fe-Based Amorphous Alloy Coating被引量:6

In this work, the electrochemical behaviors of SAM2 X5 Fe-based amorphous alloy coating and hard chromium coating were comparatively studied in 3.5 wt% Na Cl solution. In comparison with the hard chromium coating, the SAM2 X5 coating exhibited a wider and stable passive region with lower passive current density in the potentiodynamic polarization and showed a considerably lower current density at different anodic potentials in the potentiostatic polarization. In order to understand the passivation mechanism of the Fe-based amorphous coating, the components of the passive films formed at various polarization potentials were examined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The synergistic effect of Mo, W, Mn and Cr in the passive films was systemically analyzed. It has been revealed that Mo and W facilitate the formation of compact and stable Cr_2O_3 passive film at lower potentials, and the substantial enrichment of Mn in the passive film enhances the passivation ability at relatively higher potentials. The deep understanding of the passivation characteristics in multicomponent alloy systems could provide a guide for the design of corrosion-resistant amorphous alloy coatings for engineering applications.

Evidence of refilled chamber gas pressure enhancing cooling rate during melt spinning of a Zr_(50)Cu_(40)Al_(10) alloy

The influence of the refilled gas pressure on the glass forming behaviour of one of the best ternary glass forming alloys Zr_(50)Cu_(40)AI_(10) was studied for the melt spinning process.The amorphicity of as-quenched ribbons was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).The refilled chamber atmospheric pressure is crucial to the cooling rate of melt spinning.At high vacuum,at pressure less than 0.0001 atm,fully crystalline fragments are obtained.Monolithic amorphous ribbons were only obtained at a gas pressure of 0.1 atm or higher.The extended contact length between thecribbons and the copper wheel contributes to the high cooling rate of melt spinning.Higher chamber gas pressure leads to more turbulence of liquid metal beneath the nozzle;therefore,lower pressure is preferable at practical melt spinning processes once glass forming conditions are fulfilled.

Al-Y-Fe合金玻璃形成能力及其热稳定性被引量:6

为了分析Al-Y-Fe三元合金的玻璃形成能力和热稳定性,采用熔体急冷法制备了Al(100-2x)YxFex(其中x=3,4,5,6,7,8,9)、Al89Y5Fe6、Al88Y5Fe7和Al87Y5Fe8合金条带.利用x-射线衍射(XRD)及透射电子显微镜(TEM)表征了急冷态和部分晶化后条带的结构,运用示差扫描量热仪(DSC)分析了合金的玻璃转变和晶化行为.结果表明,Al88Y6Fe6、Al84Y7Fe7、Al89Y5Fe6和Al88Y5Fe7可以形成完全非晶合金;Al88Y5Fe7非晶合金280℃等温退火30 min析出纳米尺寸Al晶体,370℃等温退火30 min Al晶体发生进一步长大并有金属间化合物析出.

为了分析Al-Ni-Y三元合金的玻璃形成能力和热稳定性,采用熔体急冷法制备了Al90Ni2Y8、Al87Ni5Y8、Al84Ni8Y8和Al80Ni12Y8合金条带.利用x-射线衍射(XRD)表征了急冷态和部分晶化后条带的结构,运用示差扫描量热仪(DSC)分析了合金的玻璃转变和晶化行为.结果表明:除了Al80Ni12Y8和Al90Ni2Y8合金外,制备态的条带均为完全非晶态,部分晶化后有纳米铝晶体析出;Al84Ni8Y8合金DSC曲线上可以明显地观察到玻璃转变温度Tg.通过比较4种合金的热稳定性,发现随着Ni的原子分数升高,合金的初始晶化温度Tx也随着升高,合金的热稳定性增强.

真空热处理对热障涂层组织形貌及元素扩散的影响被引量:1

为了研究真空热处理对CoNiCrAlY涂层组织形貌及元素扩散的影响,采用超音速火焰喷涂(HVOF)设备在镍基高温合金基体上制备了CoNiCrAlY涂层.对部分样品进行真空热处理,利用大气等离子喷涂8YSZ陶瓷层.采用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、能谱分散谱仪(EDS)等分析了热障涂层的相组成、微观组织、元素扩散与热震性能,研究了真空热处理对热障涂层的影响.结果表明,真空热处理后,CoNiCrAlY涂层颗粒间界面消失且涂层发生均质化;涂层与基体界面处元素发生扩散;热障涂层的抗热震性能提高.

Deformation and fracture of a Zr-Al-Cu metallic glass ribbon under tension near glass transition temperature被引量:2

The high temperature tensile and fracture behavior of Zr_(50)Al_(40)Cu_(10) metallic glass at the temperature range in the vicinity of glass transition were investigated. Tensile tests were carried out at room temperature, 350-420 ℃, and in the supercooled liquid region temperature range, respectively. Obvious plastic deformation was initiated at temperature about 80 ℃ lower than the glass transition temperature. The ultimate tensile strength decreases with the increase of testing temperature and the ductility increases with temperature. At temperature higher than Tg, viscous fl ow of Non-Newtonian fl uid led to super plastic deformation behavior. The deformation process under tension was inhomogeneous, and remarkable serrations were observed on the stress-strain curve near glass transition temperature.

枪速对热障涂层组织性能及残余应力的影响被引量:5

为了研究等离子喷涂制备热障涂层(TBCs)时不同枪速对陶瓷面层组织性能和残余应力的影响,在GH4169高温合金基体上采用超音速火焰喷涂(HVOF)Ni Co Cr Al Y粘结层(BC层)和大气等离子喷涂(APS)8YSZ陶瓷层(TC层).通过对比不同参数样品的微观组织以及显微硬度、残余应力和热震性能差异,研究了枪速对热障涂层的影响.结果表明:枪速过低或过高时,涂层表面残余应力较大,热震性能较低;随着枪速的增大,涂层表面粗糙度逐渐增大,而孔隙率和显微硬度逐渐减小;枪速过低时,涂层出现纵向裂纹,热震失效方式为整体剥落;而枪速较大时,涂层从边缘向中心不断剥落,涂层表面出现白点.

Al-Si合金回转件车削表面雪花斑形成机理被引量:1

Al-Si合金回转件车削加工时,工件表面会产生明暗相间的雪花斑,影响工件使用性能.为了找到雪花斑产生的机理,针对ZL101铸件加工表面进行了粗糙度测量,并对工件有雪花斑和无雪花斑位置进行了力学性能测试和微观组织观察.结果表明:车削工件表面有雪花斑位置的粗糙度显著大于无雪花斑位置的粗糙度;该位置取样样品的强度小于无雪花斑位置取样样品的强度.微观组织观察表明,有雪花斑位置样品的α-Al相晶粒尺寸和枝晶间距显著大于无雪花斑的,且该位置共晶组织中的硅相颗粒尺寸及共晶组织所占比例均大于无雪花斑的.组织粗大和共晶组织的增加促使Al-Si合金切削加工过程中切削表面雪花斑的形成.
